Salem Witch Museum
Museum The Salem Witch Museum brings you back to Salem 1692.
Visitors are given a dramatic history lesson using stage
sets with life-size figures, lighting and a narration -
an overview of the Witch Trials of 1692.
John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum
From his youth to his presidency, John F. Kennedy was drawn
to Hyannisport. This museum celebrates the Kennedy family
and their friends on Cape Cod.
Bourne Historical Society
Bourne The Jonathan Bourne Historical Center is a notable
example of the skill of well-known architect Henry Vaughn.
The 1896 structure originally served as the Bourne Town
Library and overlooks the Cape Cod Canal.
Sandwich Glass Museum
Come and explore the history of glassmaking on Cape Cod
during the 19th century. The museum exhibits over 5,000
pieces of glass produced at the Boston & Sandwich Glass
Company from 1825-1888. Learn how a single glass factory
transformed a quiet farming and seaside community into a
thriving town that gained worldwide fame for its beautiful
high quality blown, pressed, cut and decorated flint glassware.
Heritage Plantation
Enjoy 76 acres of spectacular gardens, majestic trees, and
the famous Dexter rhododendron in a park-like setting. Nature
walks, outdoor concerts, daily events, and more. The J.K.
Lilly III Antique Automobile Collection located in a Shaker
Round Barn, Military Museum and Art Museum. A 1912 Carousel
will whirl you back in time.
Pilgrim Monument & Provincetown
Museum
One of Cape Cod’s main attractions, this 252-foot
high granite tower commemorates the Pilgrim’s landing
in Provincetown in 1620. Make it to the top of the monument
and delight in the panoramic views of Cape Cod. The Provincetown
Museum features exhibits on the Mayflower Pilgrims, maritime
history, and many eclectic marvels of the Cape’s outermost
town.
Plimoth Plantation
Museum Plimoth Plantation is an open air history museum
located in historic Plymouth, Massachusetts. Inside, visitors
will see a recreation of Plimoth in 1627, complete with
costumed interpreters and rare breed animals. Other sites
include Hobbamocks (Wampanoag Indian) homesite, Carriage
House Crafts Center and Mayflower II, a reproduction of
the original Mayflower (located 3 miles from the Plantation
on Plymouth waterfront).
Battleship Cove
Fall River Maritime heritage museum comprising the world's
largest collection of historic naval ships and with five
National Historic Landmarks, is Massachusetts' Official
Veterans' Memorial for WWII, and the Korean, Vietnam and
Persian Gulf Wars.
